Wood fired bottle with shino and natural ash glazes. This little jug with tiny handles was the first piece I made on the wheel when I returned back to the US last year. It was fired in my friend Mark's kiln on seashells near the fire box. Streams of melted ash and a bit of texture indicate its proximity to the coalbed. Lots of heat ash and reduction.
