Fired close to the firebox in an anagama style wood burning kiln. The cup was glazed with a shino glaze, thouth the side facing the flame is almost unrecognizable as a shino due to the heavy deposit of melted natural ash. Fired on a tripod of small seashells which have left their mark at the bottom of the cup.
