Small wood fired cup with Tenmoku and natural ash glaze. Tenmoku is a high iron glaze of Japanese ( and earlier than that Chinese) origen. It is one of my favorite glazes to use in the wood kiln for the sheer variety of surfaces and colors it can achieve. The matte yellow/gold on this little cup is one of myfavorite outcomes!
