Wood fired serving bowl with Shino liner glaze and natural ash glazed exterior. In the kiln these bowls are stacked rim to rim, separted by small balls of clay/sawdust. After the firing the "wads" are removed revealing the bare clay beneath. Lovely glow to the shino on this one, as it spent a long time at high temperature and was shielded from most of the ash floating through the kiln.
