Oval bottle with dimples

Wood fired, shino glaze bottle. Altered on the wheel.  Unlike most of the other pieces in this series, this bottle was fired standing straight up and down in the kiln. The indentions in the front and back of the pots have created some interesting glaze patterns related to the way the ash has accumulated around these alterations.
